This is my summer project. The plan is to explore the music of the Grateful Dead through all of the permutations of a single piece of music--a fragment, really, derived some say from Jerry Garcia's steel pedal lead for Your Mind Has Left Your Body on Paul Kantner and Grace Slick's 1973 album Baron Von Tollbooth and the Chrome Nun and percolated into Grateful Dead jams for the next 20-some years.
